I approach every project with the understanding of how much work your already put in. I know you’ve put in countless hours conceptualizing an idea and working to bring that idea to life. My goal as an editor is never to take over your project, but to see your vision and strive to make it as clear and powerful as possible. I am passionate about the post-production process and would love to work with you to bring your vision through it’s final stages.

Edit it.

You’ve spent countless hours writing, planning, and shooting your idea. Now it’s time to really see that work pay off as those pieces come together on screen. I am proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro as well as Final Cut Pro, and am user certified in Avid Media Composer. I would love to have the opportunity to take your film through the editing process and tell your story visually.

Color it.

So your project is edited, what’s next? Your story is on the screen, it’s evenly paced, it’s flowing well. Now it is time to strengthen your story-telling even further through color grading. Maybe you want certain colors to pop, or maybe you are looking for more muted tones, maybe you are not sure what you want. Whatever the case I would love to continue to collaborate with you and find a color scheme that helps tell the story visually. And we don’t just use LUTs around here. Your project will be taken through multiple passes in DaVinci Resolve until it looks even prettier and the story and emotion is accented even more.

Deliver it.

Congratulations! Your project has made it all the way through the post-production process. Now it’s time to deliver it. However, depending on where you plan to send your project this is not always an easy process. Different people, film festivals, and streaming services are looking for different resolutions, codecs, file formats, delivery methods, etc. Let me help you navigate the many specifications and requirements for delivering your project so you can focus on promoting your story.
