My name is Sebastian Ray. Growing up overseas I have a love and respect for cinema and story-telling from all around the world.

I have been learning video editing since I was eleven years old. I am proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, and Final Cut Pro X. I am User Certified in Avid Media Composer as well as Avid Pro Tools.

I have experience working as an editor and colorist on shorts and students film as well as working as an assistant editor on larger scale projects such as a TV Pilot. I directed & edited a short film of my own while in school.

I have on set experience, as well as post-production experience, ranging from working as a production assistant on the spin-off series of The Walking Dead to gaffing on smaller sets.

Yesterday we wrapped production on my first ever short film! It was one of the most fun experiences of my life. To be able to take a story that I’ve been thinking of and working on for so long and being it to life was such a cool experience. I was blown away again and again by the way the Lord provided through the whole process, from the generous funding donations, to my super talented cast and crew, to the locations that allowed me to film on their property. All around I am just so thankful to everyone who was involved and I’m so blessed to have gotten the experience #ontothenext 📸: @spellicane
